Guraru (Gayaji). A free health camp was organized in Verma village, under the Malpa Panchayat of Guraru block, with the support of CHC Guraru. Several counters were set up at the camp to address various ailments. Facilities such as general check-ups, medicine distribution and necessary consultations were provided entirely free of cost. More than 110 patients attended the camp and received treatment. Speaking on the occasion, Pooja Kumari, a Community Coordinator with Jeevika, said, “Such camps are crucial for improving access to healthcare facilities in rural areas. Women from Jeevika groups were also sensitized about health issues here.Health workers, including Kunal Kumar, Anita Kumari and Praveen Kumar were present during the camp. They examined the patients and provided them with necessary medicines and health-related advice. Villagers appreciated this initiative by CHC Guraru and the Health Department.
