Aurangabad. A review meeting was held via video conferencing, chaired by the Chief Secretary of Bihar and attended by all District Magistrates of the state, to ensure the successful, peaceful and malpractice-free conduct of the Integrated 72nd Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination organized by the Bihar Public Service Commission.
From Aurangabad district, District Magistrate Smt. Abhilasha Sharma, Additional Collector Shri Anugrah Narayan Singh and District Education Officer Shri Surendra Kumar participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary issued necessary directives to all District Magistrates for the successful and fair conduct of the examination. He instructed that police verification be ensured for all personnel belonging to the biometric and jammer agencies engaged in the examination process, so that the confidentiality and security arrangements of the examination remain robust.
The Chief Secretary also directed all District Magistrates to hold prior meetings and briefings with the Centre Superintendents of their respective districts to apprise them of all examination-related guidelines.

Arrangements regarding accommodation for candidates and other necessities were also reviewed during the meeting. The Chief Secretary directed all District Magistrates to ensure that an updated list of available accommodation capacity in their respective districts is submitted to the state headquarters by June 30, 2026.
It is noteworthy that the 72nd Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination, conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission, is scheduled to be held on July 26 of the coming month.
