Patna. Reinforcing its commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation-led growth in Bihar, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Bihar, successfully organized the Industry–Startup Engagement Session along with the First Meeting of the CII Bihar Entrepreneurship & Startup Taskforce 2026–27 at Amity University Patna.
The high-impact engagement brought together leading industrialists, startup founders, innovators, academicians, mentors, investors and ecosystem enablers on a common platform to deliberate upon opportunities, challenges and the future roadmap for strengthening Bihar’s rapidly evolving startup ecosystem.
More than 24 promising startups from across Bihar participated in the session, showcasing their entrepreneurial journeys, innovative solutions, business models, achievements and growth aspirations.
The initiative was conceived as an industry-led effort to create meaningful dialogue between established business leaders and emerging entrepreneurs.
A key outcome of the session was the collective recognition that Bihar’s startups require sustained handholding, structured mentorship frameworks and stronger industry linkages to unlock their full potential.
Through its extensive national network and collaborative platforms, CII will continue to create opportunities that enable startups to access mentorship, market linkages, business networks, knowledge resources and growth-oriented support
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, members of the CII Bihar Entrepreneurship & Startup Taskforce emphasized that fostering entrepreneurship is critical to creating employment opportunities, encouraging innovation and driving inclusive economic development across the state.
The Industry–Startup Engagement Session concluded with a shared commitment to building a stronger, more connected and opportunity-driven entrepreneurial ecosystem for Bihar.
