•An Average of 80 Patients Benefit Daily

Aurangabad. Today, a review meeting was held to assess the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community development activities undertaken by the Nabinagar Power Generation Company Limited Nabinagar. The meeting was presided over by the District Magistrate of Aurangabad, Abhilasha Sharma.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted regarding various schemes implemented by NTPC in the sectors of education, health, drinking water, infrastructure, skill development, and rural development. It was informed that under a CSR budget of approximately ₹4.19 crore for the financial year 2025-26, work is currently underway on initiatives related to education, health, road construction, drinking water, and other basic amenities.
In the field of education programs such as scholarship distribution, the provision of furniture and computers to schools, the distribution of sports equipment, and the “Girl Empowerment Mission” are being actively implemented. Under health services, regular medical care is being provided in 22 affected villages through a Mobile Medical Unit benefiting an average of 80 patients every day.
Similarly, under the infrastructure sector the construction of roads, community halls, cremation grounds, school buildings, health centers and other public utility assets has been completed. Through skill development programs, self-employment is being promoted by providing training to women and farmers.
The District Magistrate of Aurangabad issued directives for the effective, high-quality and time-bound implementation of all schemes, emphasizing the need to prioritize projects that align with local requirements. She expressed her expectation that by establishing better coordination between the District Administration and NTPC even greater public welfare work could be accomplished.
On this occasion the District Magistrate also unveiled a short video highlighting NTPC CSR activities which showcased the developmental works being undertaken in the region and their positive impact.
The meeting was attended by Sub-Divisional Officer Santan Kumar Singh, Planning Officer Avinash Prakash, senior officials and other dignitaries.
