    New Delhi. In a major development amid the growing street protests, Union Minister J.P. Nadda held two rounds of talks with Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. The delegation submitted a written memorandum demanding the immediate release of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination leaks, and ₹1 crore compensation for the families of affected NEET aspirants.

    While Nadda described the discussions as cordial and appealed for an end to the sit-in protest, CJP representatives said that no firm commitments were made. The party also confirmed that it will continue its agitation at Jantar Mantar.
