Patna.Under the Bihar Government’s ambitious Kushal Yuva Program (KYP), several training centers across the state are currently facing issues regarding enrollment for the March 2026 batch. Due to the inability to complete admissions within the stipulated timeline, a large number of students have been left deprived of training opportunities. In this regard, the KYP Welfare Society has urged the Bihar Skill Development Mission to reopen the enrollment portal for the March 2026 batch, so that pending and left-out candidates can be accommodated.According to the Society, the enrollment process was affected due to several practical challenges, including the Eid festival, delays in data approval at DRCC level, reduced participation during Navratri, banking and online payment issues in rural areas, delays in document verification, and technical glitches in the portal. As a result of these circumstances, batch formation could not be completed at many centers, even though a significant number of candidates have already paid their fees and are eagerly waiting for training to begin.Representatives of the Society stated:“Students are ready, fees have been paid, but enrollment is not possible solely due to the closure of the portal. This is directly linked to the future of the students.”They further appealed to the State Government, especially the Secretary of the Youth Employment & Skill Development Department, Dr. Kaushal Kishore, and other concerned authorities to prioritize students’ interests and allow the reopening of the enrollment portal for the March 2026 batch. If a prompt decision is not taken, it may adversely affect the skill development of a large number of youths and disrupt the functioning of training centers.
