Patna. “Samvidhan Hatya Diwask” (Constitution Murder Day) program was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party at Gyan Bhawan, Patna, alongside hundreds of colleagues from the BJP OBC Morcha and the Extremely Backward Class (EBC) Cell. On this occasion,State President, BJP OBC Morcha, Pramod Kumar Chandravanshi got the privilege of welcoming Union Minister and ‘Hindu Samrat’ Shri Giriraj Singh ji on behalf of the party leadership by presenting him with an Angavastram (traditional stole), a bouquet and the book “JP se BJP Tak” (From JP to BJP).
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pramod Singh Chandravanshi stated that on June 25, 1975, the Congress party imposed an Emergency in the country, thereby murdering democracy and the Constitution. During that period, lakhs of people lost their lives and over ten million people endured inhumane torture. Restrictions were also imposed on journalism the fourth pillar of democracy. This day is recorded as a “Black Day” in the history of the nation.
He noted that Jannayak (People’s Leader) Jayaprakash Narayan raised the slogan of “Sampoorna Kranti” (Total Revolution), mobilized a mass movement against the Congress’s dictatorship, and fought to safeguard democracy. Today’s youth need to draw inspiration from the struggles, sacrifices, and democratic values of Jannayak Jayaprakash Narayan.
