Aurangabad. The District Magistrate of Aurangabad, Smt. Abhilasha Sharma, conducted an on-site inspection of the proposed Government Degree College, Obra, located in the Obra block. During the inspection, a detailed review was undertaken regarding the available infrastructure, the condition of the building and the preparations being made for the successful conduct of the upcoming academic session.
It is noteworthy that the Upgraded Higher Secondary School, Pirwan (Madanpur block) and the Upgraded Higher Secondary School, Karsawa (Obra block) have been identified for the operation of newly sanctioned Government Degree Colleges in Aurangabad district. In accordance with the State Government’s directives, academic activities are scheduled to commence at these institutions from the upcoming academic session. All necessary preparations for this are being completed within the stipulated timeframe.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate assessed the college building, classrooms, campus, painting/finishing work, cleanliness and other infrastructural arrangements.
The District Magistrate directed the College In-charge/Principal to ensure the full availability of essential amenities including furniture, classroom arrangements, drinking water, electricity, toilets and sanitation facilities before the commencement of the academic session.
