Patna. State Bank of India marked a significant milestone in advancing digital and seamless public transportation with the inauguration of SBI’s National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) services at the MalahiPakri Metro Station, Patna.
The inauguration was graced by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Samrat Choudhary along with SBI’s Chief General Manager, Shri Anurag Joshi, who jointly launched the SBI NCMC Card for commuters.
The occasion was further graced by the presence of Dy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Dy Chief Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav , Minister of Urban development & Housing department Shri Nitish Mishra , Chief Secretary of Bihar Shri Pratyaya Amrit ,Principal Secretary Urban Development Shri Vinay Kumar, MD Patna Metro Shri Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalkatti ,SBI General Manager Shri Yogendra Shelkey, Deputy General Manager Shri Manish Kumar Singh, and Deputy General Manager Shri Sanjeeb Kumar Nath along with officials from SBI and Patna Metro.
The SBI NCMC Card is designed to provide commuters with a convenient, secure and cashless travel experience. Apart from facilitating seamless travel on the Patna Metro, the card can also be used for various retail and digital payment transactions, promoting the Government of India’s vision of “One Nation, One Card.”
With this launch, SBI becomes one of the pioneering banks to offer NCMC services for Patna Metro, reaffirming its leadership in digital banking and its commitment to supporting the city’s rapidly developing public transport ecosystem
