Aurangabad. District Magistrate Abhilasha Sharma organized a ‘Janta Darbar’ (Public Grievance Redressal Camp) in her office chamber under the “Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasaan” initiative, which falls under the ‘Saat Nischay-3’ (Seven Resolves-3) program.
During the Janta Darbar, citizens from various blocks presented their problems and grievances to the District Magistrate and submitted their respective applications. The grievances received primarily covered issues such as mutation of land records, encroachment, ration cards, land disputes, road construction, recruitment of Anganwadi workers, Jamabandi (record of rights) updates, Indira Awas (housing scheme), land measurement, illegal land occupation, Parimarjan, honorarium payments, irregularities in Anganwadi recruitment, ex-gratia grants and other matters of public interest.
All grievances received during the Janta Darbar were duly recorded in the register and forwarded to the concerned departments, with instructions issued to the relevant officials to ensure prompt and necessary action. The district administration is ensuring that all cases are resolved within the stipulated timeframe so that citizens do not face unnecessary delays in the resolution of their issues.
The District Magistrate issued clear instructions to all concerned officials to ensure the quality, impartial and fair resolution of every grievance. She also directed that the progress of grievance redressal be reviewed regularly.
