Mumbai. Traffic on the Missing Link section of the Mumbai–Pune Expressway has resumed for vehicles travelling towards Mumbai after authorities cleared debris from a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall. However, diversions remain in place on the Pune-bound carriageway as repair and safety work continues.

The landslide occurred near Tunnel 2, forcing officials to temporarily shut the route. While Mumbai-bound traffic has now been restored, commuters heading towards Pune have been advised to follow alternate routes and official traffic advisories.

Authorities said restoration work is underway, and heavy monsoon rains continue to pose the risk of further disruptions. Motorists have been urged to drive cautiously and avoid unnecessary travel until normal traffic is fully restored.
