Hajipur/Patna. During his visit to Hajipur, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary gifted several significant schemes related to the Registration Department to the district residents. At a program held at Hajipur’s Akshaywat Rai Stadium, the Chief Minister received a grand welcome from NDA MLAs, public representatives, and party workers. Subsequently, he visited the District Registration Office, where he inaugurated several ambitious schemes aimed at providing relief to the general public.
Under the “Sabka Samman, Jeevan Aasaan” (Respect for All, Easier Life) campaign, the Chief Minister launched a home registration facility for senior citizens aged over 80. Under this scheme, the elderly will no longer need to visit the registration office to register land or property; Registration Department personnel will visit their homes to complete the necessary procedures.
Additionally, the Chief Minister launched a paperless registration system in the state. With the implementation of this new system, all registration-related documents will be digitally secured, enhancing record preservation, transparency, and accessibility. Citizens will also be relieved of the worry of maintaining physical documents.
During the event, the Chief Minister also introduced a new system involving land site inspections via GIS technology and the provision of land-related information by the Circle Officer (CO) prior to registration, aiming to make the process more transparent and technology-driven. The government believes this will reduce land disputes and make the registration process more reliable.
The Chief Minister also flagged off a Mobile Registration Unit to facilitate the delivery of the Registration Department’s new services.
Meanwhile, the district administration had made elaborate security arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit. Security forces and police officials were deployed across the city, including the event venue, and strict surveillance was maintained at every location.
Deputy Chief Ministers Vijendra Yadav and Vijay Kumar Chaudhary were also present on the occasion. In the presence of these senior leaders, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary presented significant gifts to the state’s residents regarding the modernization of registration services.
