    Rajgir. Shravan Kumar, the Minister for Rural Development andInformation & Public Relations, inaugurated brick-soling and PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) construction works worth ₹19,34,200 in Ward No. 14 of Katari village, under the Rajgir Municipal Council. In Katari village, the Minister inaugurated a project costing ₹9,96,100 for brick-soling and PCC construction from Devi Sthan to the area beyond Mahendra’s field, as well as a project costing ₹9,38,100 involving earth filling, brick-soling and PCC casting extending to the area beyond Karu’s field. Minister Shravan Kumar stated that true development of a state is impossible without the development of its villages. It was Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s vision to develop villages; to this end, he launched the ‘Chief Minister’s Seven Resolves’ (Saat Nischay) scheme to develop villages and transform them into ‘Smart Villages.’ Today, villagers enjoy amenities comparable to those in cities whether it is electricity or piped water supply, these services are easily accessible to the people. Toilets have been constructed for residents in every village. The current NDA government in the state and the central government are working together for the people’s development. Farmers and other citizens alike are benefiting from government schemes, enabling them to progress. Former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar worked to elevate Rajgir’s profile on the global stage; as a result, people from every corner of the country visit the area today. Under the current NDA government, work is being done for people across all sections of society. Significant changes have occurred in every sector, including education and health. Women in the state have become self-reliant by associating with the ‘Jeevika’ initiative. The state government is working towards the development of people belonging to the most marginalized sections of society. MP Kaushlendra Kumar stated that significant work is being undertaken under the NDA government; development activities are progressing everywhere and peace and harmony prevail across the state. Present on the occasion were Municipal Council Chairperson Zero Devi, JD(U) leaders Munna Kumar and Subendra Rajvanshi, Ward Councilor Shyamdev Rajvanshi, former JD(U) City President Rakesh Kumar among others.
