Launching a scathing attack on Kishore, he said that a person who cannot give account of Rs 20 crore allegedly taken from the people of Bihar, has no moral right to question others.
He alleged that in the name of family benefit campaign, Prashant Kishore collected crores of rupees from about one crore people of Bihar by taking Rs 20 each in the name of yellow card, but till date he has not told what benefit any family got from this campaign.
Mr. Sinha said that this money is the hard-earned money of the poor and hardworking people of Bihar. Prashant Kishor should first return the money allegedly defrauded from the people of Bihar and give a public account of every rupee. The public will no longer be satisfied with hollow claims but with accountability.
He said that if the family benefit campaign was really a public interest campaign, then Prashant Kishore should also tell what benefits were received by how many families who took the yellow card.
He said that in the Bankipur assembly by-election, the public will give a befitting reply to those people who claim transparency but avoid giving account of their own campaign and the money taken from the public.
