Konch (Gayaji). Even though nearly a month has passed since the murder of Mithilesh,a resident of Miyanpur under the Upahara police station area—the police have failed to arrest the accused. This has caused anger and despair among the deceased’s family members. Satyendra Yadav, the father of the deceased, stated that a month has elapsed since the incident, yet his son’s killers remain beyond the police’s reach. He noted that despite making repeated visits to the police station, no concrete action has been taken. The family has demanded immediate arrests and justice. Speaking on the matter, Tikari SDPO Sushant Kumar Chanchal stated that the investigation is ongoing and the police remain in contact with the family. Only the DNA test report is pending; once received, the arrest of all those involved in the case will be ensured. It is worth noting that a month ago, a young man was murdered and his body dumped at Usas Ahar in the Konch police station area of Gaya district. The murder had created an atmosphere of tension in the area.But no arrests have been made so far by the police. The family members have appealed to higher authorities to intervene in the matter and ensure speedy justice.
