Gayaji. Dr. Prem Kumar, Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, attended the inauguration ceremony of Saraswati Vidya Niketan (Model School) +2 Zila School, Gaya-ji, today. Chief Minister of the Government of Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary and Deputy chief ministers Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Vijendra Prasad Yadav, attended the event virtually as special guests. The program was attended by District Magistrate and Chairman of the School Management Committee Shashank Shubhankar, District Education Officer Krishna Murari Gupta, In-charge Principal Kumari Sarita, teachers, students and a large number of distinguished citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prem Kumar stated that education is the strongest foundation for the development of any society or nation. He emphasized that the creation of a cultured, capable and self-reliant India is possible only through quality education. He noted that the Bihar government is continuously expanding infrastructure in the education sector to ensure that students have access to modern and high-quality education.
He remarked that the launch of Saraswati Vidya Niketan (Model School) is a significant new achievement for the students of Gaya. This school will serve not merely as a center for academics but also as a vital hub for instilling values, discipline and patriotism, as well as for character building.
Dr. Prem Kumar stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the education system is being made more practical, employment-oriented and technology-driven through the New Education Policy. The Bihar government is also working continuously to strengthen schools, provide modern resources and ensure a high-quality teaching system.
Extending his best wishes to the school community for this significant milestone, he expressed confidence that in the coming years, the institution would achieve academic excellence and produce capable, cultured and responsible citizens for society and the nation.
