Patna. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its election-related activities for the Bankipur Assembly by-election. As part of this effort, a massive meeting of the Extremely Backward and Backward communities was held on Sunday at the Chauhan Market Auditorium in Kankarbagh (under the Chidiyatad Mandal), organized jointly by the BJP’s Extremely Backward Cell and the OBC Morcha. A large number of women also participated in the meeting. Those present pledged to ensure the victory of the NDA-backed BJP candidate, Neeraj Kumar Sinha, by a huge margin.
The meeting was presided over by Sanjay Kumar Chauhan, the Regional In-charge of the BJP’s Extremely Backward Cell (Bihar). Pramod Singh Chandravanshi, the State President of the BJP OBC Morcha and Convener of the party’s Extremely Backward Cell in Bihar, attended as the chief guest.
In his address, Pramod Singh Chandravanshi noted that the people of Bankipur had previously elected Nitin Navin with a massive mandate in the Assembly elections. He highlighted that the party had entrusted Nitin Navin with a significant national-level responsibility by making him a Rajya Sabha member, thereby enhancing Bankipur’s prestige across the country.
He stated that the BJP government has taken several historic steps to strengthen the dignity and rights of the Extremely Backward and Backward communities.
He appealed to the attendees to cast their votes in favor of the BJP candidate. Several leaders—including Sanjay Nishad, Mukesh Nishad, Mukesh Mandal, Sanjay Gupta, Sanjay Kumar Chandravanshi, Ripu Patel, Madan Lal, Savita Devi, Vinita Devi, and Santosh Patel addressed the meeting and called for a massive public outreach campaign in support of the BJP candidate.
