Patna. In a significant step towards strengthening Bihar’s furniture and interior products manufacturing ecosystem, M/s City Advertising will establish a modern manufacturing unit at Industrial Area Dumaria, Muzaffarpur. Developed with an investment of approximately ₹14.74 crore, the project will contribute to the growth of the state’s manufacturing sector while promoting industrial development and employment generation.
The proposed unit will be developed over an area of 0.46 acres and will manufacture modular furniture, steel almirahs, Home and office interior products. The project is expected to strengthen Bihar’s furniture manufacturing ecosystem by promoting the production of modern interior solutions. It is also expected to generate around 50 direct and indirect employment opportunities, creating new avenues for employment and skill development for local youth. Approval for setting up this unit was granted in the meeting of the Project Clearance Committee (PCC) of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA).
Industries Minister Ms. Shreyasi Singh stated that the Government of Bihar is committed to promoting investments across diverse manufacturing sectors to transform the state into a modern industrial hub.
