Giridih. Baleshwar Patel, the Sub-Registrar of Giridih, was murdered during a violent incident stemming from a land dispute in Balsagra village, under the Mandu police station area of Ramgarh district. The incident has sent shockwaves through the region. The police are invesktigating the matter and conducting raids to apprehend the accused.
According to reports, Baleshwar Patel was visiting his ancestral village, Balsagra, during a holiday. On Tuesday morning, he went to the agricultural field to resolve a land-related dispute. During this time, the dispute turned violent. It is alleged that he was attacked with stones, leaving him critically injured. He succumbed to his severe injuries at the scene.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Mandu police arrived at the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Preliminary investigations suggest that the murder was motivated by a land dispute. The police are examining various aspects of the case and are conducting continuous raids to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the administrative department, while also sparking outrage among local residents. The police have stated that strict legal action will be taken against the guilty and that no accused will be spared.
