Pune. In another tragic development linked to the high-profile Ketan Agarwal death case, Devichand Agarwal, the grandfather of deceased Pune realtor Ketan Agarwal, passed away on Saturday night following a cardiac arrest. Family members said he had been in poor health ever since Ketan’s alleged murder at Lohagad Fort on June 18 and had been deeply affected by the loss.

Devichand Agarwal had recently participated in a candlelight march organised by residents and family members, demanding justice for his grandson. During the march, he had appealed for strict punishment for the accused, saying the family had been “betrayed by their own people.”

Ketan Agarwal’s death, initially believed to be an accidental fall, is now being investigated as an alleged murder. Police have arrested Ketan’s fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her alleged associate, Chetan Chaudhary, in connection with the case. Investigators suspect the incident was premeditated, and both accused are currently in judicial custody as the probe continues.

The death of Devichand Agarwal has added to the family’s grief, with relatives stating that his final wish was to see justice delivered in his grandson’s case. The incident has drawn widespread sympathy and renewed public attention to the ongoing investigation.
