Gayaji. Rotarian Dr. Mahjabeen Neshat Anjum was installed as the President of the Rotary Club of Gayam City for the Rotary year 2026–27 during the club’s 46th Installation Ceremony held in Gaya. Abhishek Agrawal assumed office as Secretary, while Akash Jain took charge as Treasurer. The occasion also witnessed the induction of ten new members, including two women.
The installation ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp and the formal investiture of the new office-bearers. Outgoing President Rtn. K.K. Verma and Outgoing Secretary Rtn. Rajkumar Dubey ceremonially handed over the leadership by investing the incoming team with the official Rotary collars.
In her inaugural address, Dr. Anjum outlined the club’s priorities for the year, focusing on women’s empowerment, establishment of a free diagnostic centre, literacy and self-reliance initiatives, and the promotion of sports among young people.
Referring to District Governor Rtn. Annu Narang of District 3250, Dr. Anjum described her leadership as an inspiration for Rotary clubs across the district and expressed confidence that the club would continue to expand its humanitarian outreach through collective effort.
Past District Governor Rtn. Bipin Chachan, the chief guest and Rtn. Shilpi Chacha, the guest of honour, congratulated the newly installed team and commended the club’s sustained contribution to social welfare.
The programme was conducted by Rtn. Kanchan Verma, while Dr. Manju Sinha delivered the vote of thanks. Secretary Abhishek Agrawal concluded the ceremony by thanking the guests, members and supporters for their participation.
