Aurangabad. District Magistrate Smt. Abhilasha Sharma organized a ‘Janata Darbar’ (Public Grievance Hearing) in her office chamber under the “Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasaan” initiative, which falls under the ‘Saat Nischay-3’ program.
During the Janata Darbar, citizens from various blocks presented their problems and grievances to the District Magistrate and submitted their respective applications. The grievances received primarily covered issues such as mutation of land records, encroachment, ration cards, construction of drains and lanes, land disputes, road construction, Jamabandi, Indira Awas (housing scheme),illegal land occupation, Parimarjan and other matters of public interest.
All grievances received during the Janata Darbar were duly recorded in the register and forwarded to the concerned departments, with instructions issued to the relevant officials to ensure prompt and necessary action. The district administration is ensuring that all cases are resolved within the stipulated timeframe so that citizens do not face unnecessary delays in the resolution of their issues.
The District Magistrate issued clear instructions to all concerned officials to ensure the high-quality, impartial and fair resolution of every grievance. She also directed that the progress of grievance resolution be reviewed regularly.
