Aurangabad. A “Sahyog Shivir” (Assistance Camp) was organized in Nima Ajan Panchayat under the Madanpur Block of Aurangabad district with the aim of ensuring the prompt and effective resolution of public grievances. The event was jointly presided over by the Hon’ble MLA of Rafiganj Assembly Constituency, Shri Pramod Kumar Singh; District Magistrate Smt. Abhilasha Sharma; and Superintendent of Police Shri Upendranath Verma.
In her address, the District Magistrate welcomed the villagers and expressed her immense pleasure that the district administration was reaching out directly to citizens at the panchayat level to listen to their issues and strive for their resolution.
The District Magistrate noted that while a total of 124 applications had been received from Nima Ajan Panchayat so far, she believed there might still be many people with unresolved issues. She urged the villagers to submit applications without hesitation regarding problems related to land disputes, the ‘Nal-Jal’ (Tap Water) scheme, electricity supply, social security pensions, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, sanitation, e-Shram cards, the Ayushman Bharat scheme, or any other government scheme.

In his address, MLA Shri Pramod Kumar Singh welcomed the villagers and remarked that, in the past, common people had to travel to the district headquarters to resolve even minor issues, resulting in a loss of both time and money. Today, thanks to the state government’s initiative, the administration itself is reaching the panchayat level to listen to and resolve the people’s problems.
On this occasion, the MLA, District Magistrate, and Superintendent of Police distributed e-Shram cards, job cards, ration cards, and Ayushman Bharat cards to the beneficiaries.
Stalls showcasing various public welfare schemes were set up by different departments at the camp.
Senior Deputy Collector Smt. Shweta Priyadarshi, the Block Development Officer (Madanpur), the Circle Officer (Madanpur), local public representatives and a large number of citizens were present at the event.
