Social worker, educationist and Director of Career Mission Computer Academy, Dr. Anand Ranjan Jha, stated that public trust is the greatest asset of any public representative or individual engaged in public life. Those who frequently change their ideology, principles and loyalty according to circumstances and personal interests ultimately lose the confidence of the people.
Dr. Jha said that society today needs leadership that remains steadfast in its principles under all circumstances. Opportunism, double standards and constantly shifting political loyalties weaken democratic values. People no longer judge leaders merely by their speeches; they evaluate them by their character, integrity, and commitment to public service.
Expressing his thoughts, Dr. Anand Ranjan Jha presented the poem:
You Are Not Like the Seasons – You Are an Opportunist.
Concluding his statement, Dr. Anand Ranjan Jha said that in a democracy, the people are the ultimate authority. Time tests every individual’s character, and history honors only those who remain committed to their principles and values, even in the most difficult circumstances.
