    Aurangabad. The ‘Springboard Livelihood Phase-2’ training program has been launched at Government Polytechnic, Aurangabad, with the aim of providing better employment opportunities to final-year students. This training program, which commenced on July 13, 2026, is being conducted entirely free of cost by ‘Innovation Comes Jointly’ in collaboration with Infosys CSR.
    The objective of the training program is to prepare students in alignment with current industry requirements. Under this initiative, students will receive practical training in employability skills, including communication skills, personality development, interview skills, digital skills and workplace etiquette. Students who successfully complete the training will be awarded certificates and provided with placement opportunities in reputed companies.
    The institute’s Principal, Dr. B.K. Singh, stated that in today’s competitive era, soft skills and professional competence are just as essential as technical knowledge. Such industry-oriented training programs play a crucial role in enhancing students’ employability.
    Meanwhile, Training and Placement Officer Majid Hussain noted that this program is a significant initiative towards preparing students to meet industry expectations. He mentioned that a campus placement drive would be organized at the institute following the completion of the training.
    The administration of Government Polytechnic, Aurangabad, expressed gratitude to ‘Innovation Comes Jointly’ and Infosys CSR for this initiative, expressing confidence that the training program would prove to be a milestone in shaping a bright future and a successful career for the students.
