Hazaribagh. The Superintendent of Police, Hazaribagh, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Station House Officer (SHO) and other police officials in the presence of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Barkagaon to review both old and new pending cases. During the review, several key directives were issued regarding the speedy disposal of pending cases, the arrest of absconding accused, curbing the trade of illegal narcotics and taking effective action against organized crime.
The SP directed that all pending cases dating back to before 2025 as well as current ones be disposed of immediately on a priority basis. He also ordered a special campaign to execute pending bailable and non-bailable warrants, as well as proceedings related to public proclamations and the attachment of property.
He instructed that a meeting be held every Monday at the police station with all police officials to review pending cases and accelerate their disposal.
Directives were also issued to identify locations involved in the illegal narcotics trade and to pinpoint the accused involved in this business, ensuring their arrest through special operations. Instructions were also given to take swift further action in newly registered cases linked to organized crime.
Special emphasis was placed on listening seriously to the grievances of the general public visiting the police station and ensuring their timely resolution. Furthermore, instructions were given to review pending land dispute cases during ‘Thana Diwas’ (Police Station Day) and to initiate necessary further action by coordinating with the concerned Circle Officer and Sub-Divisional Officer.
