Ranchi. The Election Commission has digitised 50.6% of the Enumeration Forms (EFs) collected in Jharkhand as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls. According to election officials, the digitisation process is progressing steadily across the state to ensure accurate and updated voter records.
To facilitate voter registration and corrections, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will remain available at polling stations in urban areas on 18 and 20 July. Eligible citizens can submit new applications, update personal details, or rectify discrepancies in the electoral roll during these special camps.
The Election Commission has urged voters to verify their details and complete any pending formalities within the stipulated timeline to ensure their names are correctly included in the revised electoral rolls. The SIR exercise aims to improve the accuracy and transparency of the voter database ahead of future elections.
