Patna. Security was heightened across the Bihar capital after an anonymous email threatened to target several key government establishments, including the Bihar Secretariat, the Chief Minister’s official residence, and other important administrative offices.

Following the alert, police personnel, bomb disposal squads, and dog squads were deployed to conduct extensive searches at the threatened locations. Authorities thoroughly inspected the premises, while access to sensitive government buildings was placed under strict surveillance as a precautionary measure.

Cyber crime experts have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the threatening email and identify those responsible. Officials stated that the threat is being treated with utmost seriousness, though no suspicious object was found during the search operations.
