Konch (Gayaji). Acting on the instructions of the District Magistrate and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Gaya, a ‘Sahyog Shivir’ (assistance camp) was organized on Tuesday at Kasturi Khap-Khatanhi in the Tineri Panchayat of Konch block. The camp operated from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. During the event, officials engaged in direct dialogue with the general public and public representatives to hear their problems, grievances and suggestions. Relevant officials were instructed to ensure the prompt and impartial disposal of the applications. The administration appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration and the police to maintain social harmony and law and order and to contribute to the overall development of the area.
According to Mukhiya representative Md. Inteshab, a total of 117 applications concerning various departments were received at the camp. The highest number of applications (40) related to adding names to ration cards. Additionally, applications were submitted regarding land issues (25), pensions (18), high electricity bills (12), toilets (12) and housing (10). The pension-related applications included cases involving the resumption of stopped pensions as well as requests for new ones. Each relevant department resolved approximately 3–4 applications on the spot, while assurances were given regarding action on the remaining applications. Officials and public representatives present at the camp included DTO Rajesh Kumar, DSP Sushant Kumar Chanchal, BDO Chandan Kumar, PO Sanjay Kumar, Supply Officer Chandan Kumar, the CDPO, housing assistants, revenue staff, a veterinarian, ‘Rozgar Sevak’ (employment assistant), SHO Deepak Kumar Rao and Sarpanch’s husband Md. Shahid (alias Sahu).
