Patna. The Congress has postponed Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s proposed student convention in Patna, which was scheduled to be held on July 11. Party leaders said the event has been deferred and a revised date will be announced later.
The postponement has sparked speculation over possible changes to Rahul Gandhi’s Bihar campaign schedule ahead of the Assembly elections. However, the Congress has not cited any specific reason for rescheduling the programme and maintained that the event will be held at a later date.
The student convention was expected to bring together youth and student leaders from across Bihar as part of the party’s outreach campaign. Congress leaders said preparations for the event would continue, with further details to be announced soon.
