Vaishali. A delegation of KYP Welfare Society, Vaishali paid a courtesy visit to former Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar and the current Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Kumar Choudhary to discuss the pending renewal of KYP (Kushal Yuva Program) training centres and the resumption of student admissions across the state.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted that the prolonged delay in the renewal and admission process has affected nearly 1,800 KYP centres across Bihar. As a result, thousands of aspiring youth have been deprived of skill development training, while KYP centre operators continue to face serious financial and administrative challenges. The delegation urged the senior leaders to facilitate the early commencement of the renewal and admission process in the interest of students and skill development.
Dr. Anand Ranjan Jha, President of KYP Welfare Society, Vaishali, stated that based on the information received during the meeting, the issue of KYP centre renewal and fresh admissions has now reached the highest level of the state government for consideration. The renewal and admission process will commence only after a high-level decision is taken.
He further said that the Society remains in constant touch with the government and the concerned department and is hopeful of a positive decision at the earliest. The Society believes that once the process resumes, thousands of young people across Bihar will once again gain access to skill development training, while KYP centres will be able to function smoothly.
The delegation included Dr. Anand Ranjan Jha, Er. Ravi Kumar, Dharmendra Kumar, Saroj Kumar, Chandan Kumar, Abhas Chandra, Mirendra Prasad, Brijesh Kumar, Dharmdev Paswan, Md. Amjad, Bipin Kumar Singh, Manish Kumar and other members of KYP Welfare Society, Vaishali.
