Sasaram. A free medical camp was organized in the villages of Mirzapur and Bank in Rohtas district under the aegis of the Department of Community Medicine at Narayan Medical College and Hospital, Jamuhar held on June 29 and 30. The camp provided health check-ups and medicines to the visiting patients. Under the guidance of Dr. Nipendra Anand, Head of the Department of Community Medicine, Doctors from Narayan Medical College examined patients checking parameters such as blood pressure and blood sugar and offered appropriate medical advice. The doctors also raised awareness among the attendees regarding the prevention and treatment of various heat and monsoon-related illnesses. Professor Dr. Sri Krishna, Assistant Professor Dr. Pankaj Kumar, and Dr. Bharat (In-charge of the Rural Health Training Centre) played key roles in the camp. Doctors Shubham, Vandana, Harshita, Aarti, Diksha, Priya, Sana, Jayant, Krishna, Gaurav Prakash, Deepak, and Puranjay among others examined and counseled the patients. Approximately 150 patients received medical care at the camps.
