Vaishali. A woman Home Guard constable has alleged that she was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by several men in Bihar’s Vaishali district, prompting police to launch an investigation into the case.
According to police officials, the survivor filed a complaint accusing multiple individuals of abducting and sexually assaulting her. A case has been registered, and investigators are examining all aspects of the allegations while collecting evidence and recording statements.
Senior police officers said no conclusions would be drawn until the investigation is complete and assured that appropriate legal action would be taken based on the findings. The incident has drawn attention to concerns over women’s safety and the need for a swift and impartial probe.
