Ramgarh. For the first time in Jharkhand, a musical fountain and floating restaurants were inauguratedi at the Patratu Dam complex within the Patratu Lake Resort, Ramgarh district. The inauguration was performed by Sudivya Kumar, the Minister of Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Jharkhand.
Present on the occasion were Roshan Lal Chaudhary (MLA, Barkagaon), Mamta Devi (MLA, Ramgarh), various officials from the Jharkhand Tourism Department and local residents. The Tourism Minister inaugurated two floating restaurants named ‘Mayurakshi’ and ‘Koel’. Tourists from across the country can book these for 45 to 50 minutes and enjoy quality snacks while on board. Visitors can also enjoy the musical fountain display in the evening. The initiative aims to boost the state’s economy through tourism.
Speaking to journalists at the event, the State Tourism Minister stated that Patratu tourism has received two gifts today: a musical fountain and two floating restaurants. He remarked that these additions would enhance Patratu’s tourism appeal, making it a major attraction for visitors in the future.
Roshan Lal Chaudhary, MLA for Barkagaon, also attended the event and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the State Tourism Minister for the inauguration. He described the move as an excellent initiative by the Minister to promote tourism.
