Bharatiya Janata Party National Secretary Rituraj Sinha stated that the latest economic data has delivered a fitting reply to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s politics of spreading lies, confusion, and pessimism. Despite global economic challenges, India’s 6.5% GDP growth proves that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India remains the world’s fastest-growing major economy.
Mr. Sinha remarked that for years, Rahul Gandhi has consistently attempted to construct a false narrative regarding the country’s economy. Whenever India achieves an economic milestone, instead of acknowledging it, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party focus on spreading despondency within the country and casting doubt on India’s image abroad.
He noted that China’s growth rate is around 4%, the US is at approximately 2%, and the average growth rate for many European nations hovers around 1%. In this context, India’s growth at a rate of 6.5% serves as proof that the Modi government’s policies are robust and the country is moving in the right direction.
Mr. Sinha stated that throughout the Russia-Ukraine war, the global economic crisis, and periods of international tension, Rahul Gandhi repeatedly raised apprehensions about India’s economy. He frequently tried to create an impression that India was becoming economically weak. However, the Modi government’s strong economic management successfully tackled every challenge, maintaining India’s status as the world’s fastest-growing major economy. Today, the GDP figures have shattered every false claim made by Rahul Gandhi.
Achievements have completely deflated Rahul Gandhi’s false narrative and the Congress party’s propaganda.
He added that the people of the country have now fully recognized Rahul Gandhi’s politics of negativity. The public places its trust in development, good governance and decisive leadership. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is rapidly advancing towards the goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India), and Rahul Gandhi’s malicious propaganda cannot halt this journey.
