Aurangabad. The 71st Foundation Day of the State Bank of India (SBI) was celebrated with enthusiasm, dignity and joy at the Aurangabad Regional Office and various branches across the district. On this occasion, bank officials and staff welcomed and honored customers by presenting them with shawls and bouquets while also reflecting on the bank’s glorious journey and its contribution to nation-building.
Addressing the main function held at the SBI branch at Ramesh Chowk, Regional Manager Rakesh Kumar stated that since its inception, the State Bank of India has played a pivotal role in taking banking services to every village while earning the trust of millions of customers. He noted that SBI is currently playing a leading role in digital banking, agricultural credit, self-employment initiatives, women’s empowerment, education loans and the effective implementation of various government schemes.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all customers, officials and staff. Deputy Branch Manager Chandrabhushan Kumar, Sridhar Kumar from the Regional Office, senior bank officials, staff members and a large number of customers were present on the occasion.
