Patna. The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, is observing “Swachhata Pakhwada” (Cleanliness Fortnight) from July 1 to July 15. As part of this initiative, the National Statistical Office (Field Operations Division), Patna, organized a cleanliness drive on July 6, 2026, within the premises of the Mansapuran Hanuman Temple located in Ward No. 2 (Mahavir Colony, Nepali Nagar, Patna).
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Deputy Director General Roshan Lal Sahu emphasized the need to keep workplaces, public spaces and the surrounding environment clean. He urged all citizens to make cleanliness a part of their daily lives and to actively participate in achieving the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
The cleanliness drive was coordinated and conducted under the leadership of Deputy Director Parimal. Assistant Directors R. K. Jha and Rashmi Ranjan played pivotal roles in the successful organization of the event.
Office bearers of the temple committee, local public representatives, concerned officials, sanitation workers and local citizens participated enthusiastically in the program. All participants contributed to spreading the message of community cleanliness among the public.
All officers and staff members of the office demonstrated their commitment to cleanliness and environmental conservation by actively participating in the cleaning of the temple premises and the surrounding area.
